Word from Pastor Barbara Yoder: Revival is Here!
“On January
eighth of this year Prophet Chuck Pierce spoke a word over Michigan that we
believe we are seeing unfold! He said “When you have a tornado over
Michigan this coming year it will be a sign for you that the winds have
met. The glory wind and the revival wind have met and it’s just going to
be interesting to see where it meets, what happens and what goes on as God
continues to move up in this area.”
Just last week, a tornado ripped through the greater Ann Arbor area, destroying about
100 homes in Dexter, downing power lines etc. Our hearts and prayers go out to
those who have been affected by this and have suffered loss, but we rejoice and
see the hand of the lord’s protection that miraculously, there were NO DEATHS
or serious injuries AT ALL.
Here at Shekinah, we believe that God is re-ordering things, He is bringing our “house”, our churches, ministries, families and even our State into alignment with His purposes. When God spoke to the Prophet Jeremiah, He told him that he would build as well as overthrow, uproot as well as plant (Jeremiah 1) and that these actions would signal the word of the Lord coming to fulfillment in Jeremiah’s time.
We at
Shekinah have been experiencing an unusually strong sense of the Presence of
the Lord and we believe that this tornado, which was prophesied would come is a
sign to us of an increase and a convergence of the winds of God, pouring out
upon us as we seek Him. Even as some homes were destroyed, sometimes God does
need to uproot and tear down, but it is for the purpose of BUILDING again,
better than ever!
For our lives, our ministries, our homes, even our state, let us see the word of the lord being fulfilled and rejoice that even in desolation, we serve a God who has plans to prosper us and not harm us, to give us a hope and a future, to awaken our hearts to the wind of the Spirit and pour out such an awakening that it will literally transform us into the church He has always intended us to be; powerful and alive!
That tornado means, revival is here. Now we must act on that sign!
